This site remodel addressed a concern which The Garden Angels often address: how and where to create living spaces on a steep slope. Custom juniper timbers were sourced to create an attractive (and safe!) retention system, terraced levels, stairs and access to the backyard. This combination worked to furnish our client with a wonderful social space which overlooks the Pacific Ocean. An updated, clean and simple entry design modernized this charming cottage, with low-maintenance plantings strategically placed to provide texture and color (more photos to come).
