The influence of the Islamic kingdom is underestimated in the historic development of the classical architecture of Europe. In particular, the intricate adornments, the repeating patterns, characteristic archways, lattice and fretwork, ironworks and other elements have been the architectural underpinnings of the vernacular we now accept as “English” garden design fundamentals. In this project, a calming reflecting pool was desired as a central organizing element, to cool the space and gather the family’s guests. The family’s cultural heritage and the home’s architecture were key to the development of the aesthetic. This is always a goal of our team of Angels, wanting to personalize each project for each family. Just another one of our many miracles performed on each project.

In Our design, the reflecting pool is enclosed by low-maintenance, 6 season color and greenery, and the drive approach relaxes to a Pacific Northwest naturalistic planting style to match an existing landscape statement in the upgrade project.
