This project highlights the way in which mixed materials such as juniper timbers and flagstone can really freshen up a front approach. This client was looking for a low-maintenance front yard which would be more tolerant of the increasingly dry Oregon summers; the hardscape and mixed native grasses work together to create just that, while the elegant juniper timber retention walls add geometry and visual interest in a naturalistic style.
